COW studios approached us to develop a prototype for an action tower defense game with a unique twist.
Ordinary Heroes is wave-based. Waves of enemies will try to reach the left side of the screen. To prevent this, you need to place units strategically onto three different lanes. Units range from an archer to an engineer that places traps. When the units are placed, the wave starts, and you can control a hero avatar that can inspire the other units.
After a successful vertical slice, we’re now co-developing the real deal. We’re responsible for the gameplay development and the visual effects.
